OUR BOARD

Peter Ellis, Chairman

Peter has been an Independent Chairman, Director and CEO for over 25 years with New Zealand and multinational companies involved in manufacturing, distribution, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), food, agribusiness, banking and health. Peter is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors and joined the board as an independent director and chairman in 2016.

Steve Wyn-Harris, Independent Director

Steve is a well-known farmer, broadcaster, columnist and director with a farming career that began in 1985. Steve’s corporate experience includes having served on the boards of Landcorp (2003-2007) and Farmlands (2006-2012). As an independent director on our board since 2016, Steve chairs the Midlands Funds Management Limited audit, risk & compliance committee.

Dinah Kennedy, Director

A former partner in a leading Hastings legal firm and more recently a consultant lawyer, Dinah brings experience in lending to the Board and currently chairs the Loans Committee and is an appointee to the Audit and Risk Committee. Dinah has extensive experience in the compliance requirements of the financial sector and is a member of the Institute of Directors.

John Campbell, Director

John was the founding chairman of the board from 2004 to 2011, and has continued as a director from that time. He has been a partner with Waipukurau law firm, Davidson Armstrong & Campbell, since 1983 where he focusses on trusts, estates, commercial, farm succession planning and rural law.

Ken Horner, Director

Ken is a third generation principal of Halliwells. He has an LLB from Auckland University and has been at Halliwells since 1976. His areas of expertise include financing, conveyancing, commercial, forestry ventures and administration of Trusts and Estates. Ken has been a director on the board since 2004.
